A transformative four-day immersive and nurturing experience designed specifically for widows and surviving partners
Welcome to "Awakening Hope," a transformative four-day immersive and nurturing experience designed specifically for widows and surviving partners who are navigating the turbulent and unchartered waters of grief. If you're feeling sad, lost, and alone after the loss of your loved one, this unique four day event on Facebook is here to offer you solace, support, and the promise of a brighter future.
During these four days, we will gather together in a compassionate and understanding virtual community. Guided by me, the UKs leading Widow Coach, we will explore various aspects of grief, providing you with the tools and insights to navigate the complex emotions that accompany loss. Through live sessions on Facebook, you will find comfort in knowing that you're not alone in your journey, as you connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges.
The primary objective of "Awakening Hope" is to instill a sense of belonging and restore your faith in life after loss. Together, we will embark on a profound healing process that embraces both the pain of grief and the potential for renewed joy. Through group discussions, therapeutic exercises, and gentle guidance, you will be empowered to honor your unique grief journey and find strength in the shared stories and experiences of others.
Each day, we will explore different themes, carefully crafted to help you move through grief and towards a more hopeful future. We will explore topics such as self-care and self-compassion, rebuilding a sense of purpose, nurturing personal growth, and fostering meaningful connections with others. By engaging in interactive activities, journaling exercises, and mindfulness practices, you will develop practical strategies to embrace life's possibilities while honoring your loved one's memory.
At "Awakening Hope," we understand that healing from loss is a deeply personal process, and this free event is tailored to meet your individual needs. You will have the opportunity to participate in group sessions with me, allowing for personalised support and guidance throughout the week. Additionally, our Facebook group will serve as a safe space where you can share your thoughts, ask questions, and connect with others who truly understand your pain.
As you engage in this immersive experience, you will gradually discover that hope is not lost, but merely waiting to be awakened within you. Through the collective support and empathy of our community, you will come to realize that life after loss can be beautiful again. Together, we will create a space where grief can be transformed into growth, where pain can be transformed into resilience, and where you can find solace in the company of others who have walked a similar path.
I knew I needed something more than counselling to ensure I thrived in this new life I had created.
So I began to work with a life coach. And this decision was transformational. I learnt to work on my mindset, values, gratitude, stress, diet, sleep and much more. I learnt not to give up when things got tough. I developed a ‘can-do’ attitude and I started to care less about what others thought or expected of me.
Don't let grief isolate you. Join us at "Awakening Hope" and embrace the opportunity to heal, connect, and rediscover the beauty of life.
You deserve a future filled with hope, and we're here to guide you every step of the way.
My Grief and Healing Journey
In 2016, my world fell apart. I lost my husband and my children lost their father. I didn’t know how my life would continue and in those early days, I wasn’t even sure I wanted it to. My grief was quite simply unbearable. I felt permanently exhausted, anxious and overwhelmed. And utterly alone.
Slowly, over time, I started to stitch together a new life for myself and my children. My daughters returned to school, birthdays and holidays came and went, we laughed and cried, we fought and loved and we learnt to navigate our new normal. However, I was still struggling to make sense of my feelings.
